Purebred White Swiss Shepherd Dogs

Ublong White Swiss has a responsible breeding program dedicated to the continual development and improvement of the white Swiss shepherd breed of dog. To keep the line pure we imported three females and one male from Europe where the breed first originated. We’ve since welcomed puppies which have thrived, and some have gone on to loving homes.

A Recently Recognised Breed

The white Swiss shepherd was recognised as a separate breed in Europe in 1990s and is growing in popularity. With a definite shepherd appearance, they’re slightly smaller than the German shepherd and have a thick white coat. Bright and intelligent, they’re easy to train, love to work, and like all herding dogs, they need plenty of exercise.

White Shepherds at a Glance

Ublong White Swiss occasionally has puppies available to good homes, and we plan to breed in June/July and November/December. White Swiss shepherds make loyal, devoted pets with a life expectancy of around 12-14 years, and weigh in at around 35-40 kg. Their thick coat is easily managed with regular brushing, but, like most dogs, they do moult a couple of times a year.

Show Ring and Obedience

As professional dog breeders, we also exhibit our dogs and they’ve done well in the show ring and at obedience training. We’re proud of how far they’ve come, and they’re happy, lively dogs with a willingness to learn and a real zest for life.
